In order to meet the steady and fast growing demands, the production and storage facilities in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz were expanded.

IN-HOUSE DEVELOPED TEMPERING OVEN STARTS OPERATION
The self-developed machine allows the thermal hardening of complicated glass molds.
1990
GENERATION CHANGE – EXPANSION – WORLDWIDE NETWORK
Thomas Stumpe, grandson of the company founder, takes over. He expands the production facilities in Bavaria and builds up a worldwide network of production sites by gaining new strategic partners.
1960/70
A NEW ERA – TECHNICAL GLASS
Gustav's son Klaus leads the company into a new era. Now the main focus of the company is glass used as a technical component in many industries, e.g. gauge glass.

STUMPE GLAS IN KAUFBEUREN-NEUGABLONZ
The traditional business is continued in Kaufbeuren - Neugablonz approx. 80km west of Munich.

Founding of the company
Founded in Grenzendorf, in present day Czech Republic, the company produces, designs glass buttons, elements for custom jewelry and decorative articles.
